I just thought I would post the details here for all to see

The dates are Saturday 12 July to Saturday 19th July 2008.

The house has been booked on the basis that it was cheaper than a hotel even if only six of us ended up going.

Total price is £900 - I have paid the deposit of £272 with the balance due 6 weeks before departure.

Therefore, if its 6 people, it will be £150 each for the week, 7 - £129 each and 9 - £100 each (calculated on adults only, obviously!).

The house sleeps 12 adults, so should take 9 plus the kids comfortably.

Ring opening times are:-

12th 0800 - 1930
13th 0800 - 1930 (Truck GP)
14th 1300 - 1930
15th 1745 - 1930
16th 1745 - 1930
17th 1745 - 1930
18th Closed (VLN testing)
19th Closed (VLN race)

We need to book crossings - current prices are:-

Norfolkline £68
Seafrance £119
Tunnel £144

Based on going out at 8am and coming back at 4pm.

We will be booking the Norfolkline crossing soon, as I can't see it getting any cheaper.

Anyone else in? Are we going to try and get Truck GP tickets?

And the 'summer' house looks fab from the outside as we saw it at Xmas.

I think we should get truck GP tickets and also enjoy the evening entertainment with the thousands of germans - we will see if we can drink them under the table and who cares if we lose

I'm afraid I will be taking a rain check on this trip as it will Jacob's 1st birthday.

we are up for this and my parents want to join us, so we will be looking at 4 adults from this end!... and of course two little boys.....

Are we interested in collectively buying / using Kiteman's cheap unused Ring ticket (advertised on CVR4 today) as it will save us 50 odd Euros ?
