Buh-bye

Due to personal reasons I am standing down as head big-head entirely because someone was really mean to me, but I'm not going to say why.

I would like to thank the following people in an obviously insincere way for making this club what it is today:

Me - because I'm just amazing (obviously that bit isn't insincere).
Keith - for being there from day one supporting my choice of cars during the hard times - couldn't have done it without you - sorry for the coarse words I say all the damn time....but hey.
Jane - because without your pictures, I wouldn't look the amazing driver I am.
Skang - for making sure all of us got a website and adding that personal touch. Thankyou for making club Suspects what it is today, long may Club Suspects continue.
k9ng - for being just fantastic bloody fantastic, you're one of a kind you really are.
Jetslag - for ensuring every Combe day was dry inside various buildings we couldn't get into and for stealing all the banners and signs.
The lowly "members" - a big gritted-teeth thankyou to everyone who I can't be arsed naming for apparently organising the odd meets here and there and for actually going out and doing things that involved cars and socialising as opposed to just talking about it all the time. Sorry I never made it on those simple little trips to Germany that you do. Good luck with that in the future.

I will miss each and everyone of you from the bottom of my arse, I will not be attending any future events as I feel this would make this whole rash post compeltely pointless.

Just for those of you that think there must be more - there really is. It's just that you are not important enough in the scheme of things to be enlighted.

The committee were all as pleased shocked as you guys and personally, I couldn't give a feck! Da Gaffer has written his thoughts on the first post (must have been one of those rare moments of lucidity) and as he said, there is no ill-feeling between any committee member and Da Gaffer (well, except for Keith - he hates that fecker!).

We all - to a man (and woman and dog and cat) - wish that we still had Da Gaffer there as he always had been (pissed, generally )

I was writing a reply to that one he put but had to disconnect and do some work - might try again later if I'm feeling rebelious enough. I was basically going to reply to the "Just for those of you that think there must be more" comment with, "yeah clearly there is something more otherwise he wouldn't have just disappeared without a trace and given that every single one of you replying in the post were completely shocked by this, I would hazard a guess that you think there's more to it as well". Maybe....

I am dying to ask on the mere mortals site why he's thrown his toys out the pram!

Just got back from the pub after an early finish to the day....feeling rebelious so I thought I'd have a crack at Barry again on t'other forum. Wonder how that'll go down? Most probably nobody will even bother replying to it....
