| Good idea. would it be easier, as CC normally gets hit by a "hurricane", to have a rectangular banner that eaither goes across the top front edge of the tent or across the back section, this would save having to buy a frame and use the tent frame to hold it up? its a great idea and something that we will need to do. just gotta keep a handle on the costs thats all. would be good to get the stand noticed! theres also the Friday track day before! may go to watch rather than track....will see | |

| Yes, do let me know when you need payment. i agree use the existing geezebo to mount the banner, its cheaper that way. I would maybe do put it across the front, so it get's noticed more easily or depending on cost get two so you can have one on the front and one on the back | |

| Derek is welcome is my view! so if he takes one of our entry tickets and a stand space that will mean that we still have one entry ticket and 4 stand spaces | |

| Weird - i was just coming on to say I spoke to Derek t'other day and he was asking about stand space with us. Both of us had started on the beer when we had this conversation though......
I've booked my hotel space - looks like there's very little space left there already!

| hi guys. i have spoke to a very helpful man at Future Publishing who confirms he has our booking form and that we have actually got it in before they were prepared. We wont know any details about our stand and track times until the week before Japfest.
I am also considering a track session with ClubVR-4.

| Why so late - I'm sure the other clubs know well before then - I think we could be outta luck on this one ???
So not mentioning Nick 'On The Fence' Mann's pm then ? Just gonna keep the peace ? Lets face it they are not concerned with us, just concerned with filling their sessions.
I'm not doing the CVRBore sessions as they may clash with our public sessions and I don't think I can take their excuses any more - "After you overtook me I had no difficulty keeping up and if ......"

| No to keeping the piece, ive no need to. Yes, i did get a PM about us lot and i said i wasnt aware of anything up. I also suggested that any rumours could have came from Derek Id like more than 3 sessions as i dont know when i'll have time this year to do any other track days at my "birth place". I wont be going for the 8 sessions from two years ago but 5 sessions would be good. I will wait and see. | |

| I thought it was quite cool of Nick to send that...I think you're getting very cynical in your (very) old age Keith! I told him I had no issues with him, but took the oportunity to have another swipe at a certain AWOL website administrator (as you do). Also told him I wouldn't rule out track sessions with them, but it depends on money now as we've already committed 3 public sessions. They only have a handful of people booked up so far - maybe wait till just before and get a session or two for peanuts....let's face it, we're celebrities now and should be treated accordingly | |

| Mm, maybe Heath and I are making each other cynical but I'm afraid that I see it in exactly the same way, especially after the pager message I got from Pete last night - I don't believe they give a toss about our 'hurt feelings', they just want to fill their sessions and get some video out of us too! I have obviously missed something, but I thought the whole point of Simon going to the trouble of getting a seperate stand and booking three public sessions was that none of you wanted to go out with them? But if you are all going to end up booking with them anyway, you could have corrected Heath when he posted on the thread that you weren't going to. I realise he may have jumped the gun a bit (doesn't he always ) but now it looks like its just us snubbing them! You should know by now he doesn't need any help making himself look like a tit J /edited/ Ah balls, who cares - I have PM'd Nick to tell him we still love him, that Barry is a twat and Heath won't be doing any CVR4 sessions ('cos he says he doesn't want to?) - at least Pete has stopped stalking me now!! Next year, I'm pissing off to the Bahamas in May | |

| hello! im not 100% sure whats going on?! nothing new there... the way i see it is that i have requested our own stand and three sessions for four of us. Ive received a PM from Nick asking whether we as a group have been offended in anyway, wondering why we havent booked through them. i replied as stated above and i also said i hadnt owned a Vrbore for 3 years and thought it was time i made the break, especially as a stand, but i had never gave thought about their track time. i honestly have no problem with the club but i am now very interested to know what pager messages/texts you guys have been receiving? A few vrbore members, without stating names, do take banter the wrong way and treat it as the truth!!! May be we have upset them... on which thread did H post about not going on the vrbore sessions? if its on here, they wont see it. if its on the Vr site then i wouldnt see it!! DONT PANIC we will stick with our Leader and boycote the VR4 sessions.. | |
